Prior to joining the prestigious St. Augustine law firm of Canan Law, Andrew Morgan served as the Assistant State Attorney for Florida’s 7th Judicial Circuit which includes St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler and Volusia counties in Northeast Florida. Though termed “Assistant” Andrew Morgan was actually the lead trial attorney for the State Attorney Office. In that capacity he prosecuted the most serious cases including Life Imprisonment, first, second and third degree felonies. His reputation as a trial lawyer is well known throughout Northeast Florida.
Since joining Canan Law, Attorney Andrew Morgan has focused his law practice on criminal defense matters and family law. As criminal defense lawyer he assists those accused of misdemeanors as well as serious felonies, the same kinds of cases he handled as a prosecutor. In matters of Family Law, Andrew Morgan is both aggressive in the defense of his clients’ legal rights, yet sensitive to the complex emotional issues often involved in such matters of the law.
